How Is Engineered Hardwood Different?

Engineered hardwood is made of a top layer of solid wood veneer and core layers of wood, plywood or high-density fiberboard (HDF) that have been pressed together under high heat and pressure.

Globe icon representing global connectivity concept.

A More Eco-Friendly Flooring Option

Engineered hardwood is a very popular flooring choice not only for its elegance and versatility, but also because it’s more sustainable than solid hardwood. Fewer trees are used and less waste is created during its manufacturing process.
